I wanted to do something with styling I haven’t done before…

and here is the result.
I consider myself rather adventurous when it comes to my personal style. I’m willing to pursue any trends. I’m open to all sorts of style and happy to take on any of them providing I’m allowed the freedom to interpret it with an Oliver sort of twist (that pun tho…) so this outfit is a great reflection of what I strive to achieve with Suede & Symphony.
In a way, my blog has essentially been one herculean experiment that I’ve commited my life to. I put as much time and efforts as I can into planning and producing each post. Initially, I would test the waters by observing and imitating various other bloggers, but now that I’ve gathered a solid blogging foundation, I feel it’s about time I established a style of my own.
To truly engage with my readers on a personal level, I aim for my every post to be a different experience for them so in my last few outfit posts, I retracted the bambling on clothes, instead I decided to discuss topics that were more sensitive and closer to my heart.
If you’ve been following me on LookBook closely enough, you would’ve noticed too that I started toying with the template of my postings. After over half a year of finding my feet in the vast blogosphere, I finally felt comfortable and confident enough to really get creative. I guess you could say this is me preparing myself to say goodbye to my regular posts as I aim to make every one of my article more distinctive than the last…
The biggest experiment I’m currently conducting is the first vlog entry – yes, you guys are about to see me in motion and listen to me ramble on one of my fav subjects for the first time. This is inspired by some of my favourite fashion dudes to watch on YouTube – since there are way too many to name, let’s just say every single menswear YouTuber I’ve ever viewed has contributed their share towards this direction shift.
A few weeks back, I held a giveaway for my readers to win a pair of animal graphic tees by Chiang Mai-based artist, Ko and I’m pleased to announce that the lucky winner is Clair Downham!! Please check your inbox for details and I hope you enjoy the prezzies! 😀
