As the biting chill in the air alerts me of the fast-approaching autumn/winter, I turn to my wardrobe and give it a quick freshening up.

I must admit I love this time of the year, more for the fashion than the cold, obviously… the festive spirits and those shop windows filled with autumnal clothes that never fail to slow down my pace, who could resist them, eh? So here is me wrapped up in one of my fav transitional trends!
Jumper: Bellfield | Shirt: ASOS | Shorts: H&M | Shoes: Batsanis | Clutch bag: ZARA
As a non-stranger to ASOS and TKMaxx, Bellfield is a brand I’ve been aware of for a long time but also one I have yet to feature on my blog, until now. I’m glad though that I’ve reserved the opportunity for this perfect piece to see me through the seasonal transition. Rather than saying this polo-neck jumper is a godsend to this weather, which it is, I personally prefer to think that this weather was made for it.
Claustrophobic it may be (to me) but it is also super cosy and comfy to wear. Layered over a long line shirt, a trend you’ve been seeing quite a lot on here, and it’ll keep you warm and toasty for the rest of the year.
Speaking of brands new to the blog, these beautifully Portugese-crafted shoes are by an Australian brand Batsanis. The rich chocolatey brown is tastefully satisfying to my footwear appetite and I love the laces and little details in contrasting blue that set offs the top half of the outfit.
Finally, I paired the lace-ups with this ZARA clutch bag, also in a echoing sinful shade of brown to finish off the look.
As much as I am reluctant to pack in my tees and shorts, I can’t help but look forward to stretching my creativity with layering this autumn/winter!! Don’t forget to let me know what you think of my outfit here and how you plan on wrapping up in preparation for the cold!!
Love, Oliver

September 28, 2015 at 8:15 amLove this outfit, still unsure how you’re managing to wear shorts, it’s so chilly at the moment 😉 I really like the jumper, manly it may be but it’s the kinda thing I’d buy for myself to curl up on the sofa in – hehe!

September 29, 2015 at 8:51 pmThe jumper does look a little bit like a Snuggie but that’s what I like about it!! lol To be honest, this was shot just before it turned chilly so I just about got away with it 😉
