A confession real quick : Kurt Geiger is a brand that I adore but only ever shop at when I’m prepared to splurge, which I rarely am as I like to save my money for other things too, i.e. travel. So when the footwear retailer invited me to participate in #thebootsbrigade social campaign, I wasted no time in jumping onto the project.
As a part of this collaboration, I was gifted a pair of boots from KG’s extensive and very beautiful collection / in return, I was asked to do what personal style bloggers generally do, style them.
I picked the ‘Chalker‘ boots (in black, obviously but it also comes in tan) for the classic shape, modernised with the unusual coat of shine on the cap – a good, smart mix that blends in perfectly with what I like to think is my signature aesthetics.
To complement the Chalkers, I put together a black-led ensemble decorated with a hint of denim and distress details for a cool, almost rock n rock kind of edge. Topped off with a fedora (excuse the pun) – which I must admit has never my first choice when it comes to hats but I sensed as an accessory, it’d be appropriate for this look.
This is only one of the many, many ways to wear these boots whatever your style is so I want to know how would you style the Chalkers and what do you think about my interpretation? More importantly, how do you like my new kicks…? 😀
Let me know in the comments below and don’t forget to check out Kurt Geiger and their range of men’s boots here.
